Apostle J. Orlando Gardner Bailey, Sr. is the Pastor/Teacher of Marketplace Fellowship Cathedral (MFC), formerly known as Sanctuary Church and New Dimensions Church & Ministries, Inc. located at 802 N. Fulton Ave. Baltimore, MD 21217. A native of Baltimore, Maryland Apostle Bailey attended Leesburg High School in Leesburg, Florida and received a GED from Baltimore City Community College. He has earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Theology from Northwestern Theological Seminary. He is currently enrolled to the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in pursuit of a Masters of Divinity with a specialization in church planting. Apostle Bailey commenced his preaching ministry at the tender age of sixteen under the tutelage of Apostle E. Lorenzo Robinson at Mount Bethel and Second Bethel Baptist Churches located in Coleman and Royal Florida. Apostle Bailey began his Pastoral ministry at the age of eighteen at Greater Works Outreach Ministries, Inc. After faithfully serving at Greater Works Outreach Ministries, Inc. God elevated him to become Pastor/Teacher of the Turners Temple Christian Community Church in December 2001. Within a few months the congregation grew in membership, weekly attendance and financial stability. As the Under-shepherd of The Turners Temple Christian Community Church, God allowed tremendous favor to fall. In April 2003, the name of the church was changed to New Dimensions Ministries, Inc. believing that God is taking us to a new place. In June 2003, Pastor Bailey was elevated to Bishop of the New Dimensions Christian Faith Fellowship. In August 2003, The United Council of Christian Community Churches of Maryland and Vicinity nominated Apostle Bailey to its board of Presidents. He currently serves as the First Assistant and successor to the Chief Apostle Stanley M. Butler in The Marketplace Fellowship and Churches. His innovative approach to ministry has allowed the implementation of many cutting-edge programs. God has favored Apostle Bailey by allowing tremendous spiritual growth to accompany his ministry and followers. His ministry has been very successful in its outreach endeavors of assisting those in need by providing community feeding programs, maintaining privately funded feeding programs for the homeless, drug addiction support teams, and HIV/AIDS Support Groups, and many other community partnerships. Apostle Bailey is the Husband of Minister Shanae Bailey and the proud Father of two sons, Delontae and Jacques, Jr. one daughter Zuri, and his adopted daughter Min. Margaret Shorter. Apostle Bailey is a preacher’s preacher, teacher, revivalist and facilitator. His teaching ministry is a blessing to those with receptive hearts.
